Bronte is a Municipality of the Metropolitan city of Catania located on the Etna Volcano, famous in the world for the production of Pistachio and for being immersed in the unspoiled volcanic nature of Eastern Sicily.
The town takes its name from Greek mythology. Bronte, in fact, was the name of one of the CYCLOPS (Βρόντης, Bróntēs) who with the brothers Sterope and Arge forged lightning for Zeus.
Son of Uranus (the sky) and Gaea (the earth), Bronte was the CYCLOPS assigned to the roar of thunder and is described as a prodigious creature and connoisseur of the art of iron working.
The CICLOPE BRONTE F.C emblem was created to tell the story of the town and to have a strong graphic recognition that can make up for the often reduced budgets of the amateur club with a strong and unique look. The shape of the shield (d) refers to the classic language of football and creates in its upper part a stylization of the most characteristic panorama of Bronte (c), the Etna Volcano which dominates among the green uncontaminated nature.
The upper shape in green recalls that of "Monte Barca (Boat Mountain)", a millenary extinct crater that houses the name of the Club / Country. The geographical scenario gives way to the mythological one by opening the great eye of the CYCLOPS in the central part of the crest.
A strong and iconic symbol that refers both to the name of the club but, above all, to the origins of the town. The composition is completed with the club colors (c), red and black filling the shield.
Being an amateur club, the emblem was conceived as a flexible and iconic element of the CICLOPE BRONTE team to be able to adapt and stand out on every type of jersey and game kit, from monochromatic ones to vertical band compositions (typical of the club's history).
The graphic system can be hosted in its entirety or be reproduced in reduction using only the iconic eye of the CICLOPE accompanied by the BRONTE logotype.
