Designing with Intelligence is a graphic design workshop that took place in April 2023 supervised by the IED lecturer Giulia Gravina. Students from the graphic design courses of IED Milano learned the basics of generative artificial intelligence and developed their prompt engineering skills by generating first hand the contents of their publications. Every image was created using Midjourney and all text was generated by chatGPT, with human supervision and direction.
The fusion of human ingenuity and technological brilliance made these bizarre and creative projects possible.
Uptopia

The project takes the form of an informative tourist guide that illustrates the city of Uptopia, its history, and its inhabitants, delving into the catastrophic past of the city. Uptopia was compelled to relocate entirely into the sky due to an earthquake, utilizing floating buildings as a means of transportation.
